No start Help. Super confused
Hey all. Ill start by saying the car is a 97 integra GS automatic. Randomly stopped on me one. Tested everything I could possibly could. New starter, new ignition switch, neutral safety switch. All fuses replaced even if not needed. Fuel pump kicks on. Dash lights come on. Go to start the car and theres nothing. Like the car doesn't recognize it has a starter. Im completely baffled right now. Anyone able to think of anything.? Thank you.
Do you lose all power whenever you turn the key to start the car? The car will have power on each position but whenever you go to crank the car you lose all power?
If so my EG had a similar issue and I fiddled with the battery cables and it never had an issue since. Make sure there is a secure connection.
Have you ever replaced the main relay?

The only wire in the engine harness that will affect the starting of the engine IS the starter signal wire (large black/white wire connected to the male spade connector on the starter solenoid). Check for continuity between the plug on the drivers side plug at the firewall and the starter solenoid... if there is no break in this wire, your engine harness is good. This sounds more like a problem in the Park/Neutral switch at the gear selector or a starter relay issue... or maybe the key switch pigtail.

I would check voltage at the ignition switch key cylinder. You should be able to test from the exposed solder pads.
What do you mean by stating the wire is fine? As in no breaks in the wire? Did you check for voltage to this wire up to the starter as someone turns the key?
