No Start?
Well i'm in need of some help.
I'm all finished a rebuild and the engine is in and everything connected
je pistons, eagle rods, cleavite bearings, supertech valves, bc dual valesprings/retainers, je pro rings etc etc..
anyways my engine is turning over, but not starting or even sounding like it wants to start. i replaced the starter and still nothing.
im not to sure what to check now, my priorities changed halfway through the build but i decided to finish anyway and sell it when i have it broken in/any bugs worked out. but now here i am, taking up space in my garage, so any help would be awesome. it seems to have fuel, i can smell it when i pull my plugs, it seems to have spark when i tried running with plugs out/grounded. my distributor rotor is really wiggly and feels loose, is that normal. i'm already about $5,000 in and i really want to make sure this thing runs before i go buying distributors and stuff. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have not changed anything electrical.
Any ideas?

Check all of your grounds an make sure they are secured properly. That may be your problem, but the fact that your distributor is loose/wiggly is not good either it should be tight.
All my wires are grounded out, all my electronics work. i even added a few grounds trying to see if it would help. And my distributor is tight, just the rotor under the cap is wiggly. Its cranking good, it just doesnt sound like it is firing.
I know you said it has fuel but does it have good fuel pressure? Turn the key to the position before you would turn it to crank the motor. The position when you would hear the fuel pump prime. So now that my ability to explain things so well has kicked in. Lol Ok so leave the key there and let the fuel pump prime til it shuts off on its own. should be like 5 seconds. then turn the key off and crack the cap on the end of the fuel rail. have a rag ready because if you have good fuel pressure fuel should come spraying out. you may have to do a little unscrewing on the cap but not much more than cracking it and like one turn. If you have no spraying fuel then you have no fuel pressure.
what about the switch behind the clutch pedal? clutch interlock switch?
i am trying to figure out why mine clicks everytime i push the clutch in...i have been looking at the service manual to see if it can be adjusted...i read that is it doesn't work the car won't start.

Running stock management, wanted to make sure it started before i dumped a bunch more money into it.
