Default Next Modification

Hello All,
My name is Ian and this is my first day at HT, lets make this first post count. I have a 1994 Acura Integra LS. Seeing as it is Christmas time and it is my birthday very soon my parents decided they would let me buy some new car parts. I already have a short ram intake, and a 2.25 inch cat back exhaust system. Recently I ordered a DC-Sports Ceramic Coated 4-2-1 Header for my car.

--Side Question--
I ordered my header from jegs.com, will it come with everything I need for installation, or do I need to buy something extra as well?

--Main Question--
What is the next best modification for my car? I was thinking a new ECU and a fuel system upgrade. Any imput is greatly appreciated.

You might need a donut gasket.

yes, the header was kinda bad on torque, but when you hit the mid to high rpm range you could see a major grade. you could get a hi-flo cat of like ebay or like andysautosport.com.

My suggestion to you is to upgrade your suspension. It's easy, cheap, and good fun!

Springs/Shocks for a beginners start. An ITR rear sway bar from there

I agree with you. I was thinking about getting a good set of coilovers and the JDM wheels. That would be preatty sexy.

Nice, Go for it, wheels are a lot more expensive than a sway bar though

i'd get coilovers or springs/shocks..pretty much anything out there, whether you want your car to look better/go quicker/handle better

ECU is unnecessary for those minimal mods IMO

First off you dont need any sort of ECU or fuel upgrade with only I/H/E. Go with suspension for the next upgrade. Do a search for ITR sway bar, you can get the full kit for around $120, that will really help the car handle. As fas a coilovers. Do you need to adjust them? If not save them money and get some good springs and shock. Dont go cheap on coilovers just to say you have coil overs. Over time they will suck, they can sag and just ride like crap.

yes i agree suspension work is my next thing im going to do. i do have sway bars, those are set and done. i have one over my motor and soon im going to mount the other one under my car and in the rear of my it. i found a nice sert of coilovers for like 120 or something on summitracing. i would rather get coilovers, because i can adjust them incase my ride hieght preferences change. but i dunno. im worried about buying the wrong thing. can anyone here find me some nice ones and link them up? and yess i need a car wash gimmea break. lol.

if you want coilovers, you want the full coilover system, not the simple coilover, the ride sucks ***. but the full system can be very expensive. Its better off getting springs, maybe considering TEINs or H&R, get the luxury version if you dont want to be that slammed..

i suggest you go with suspension mods as well....you might think you "feel" (butt dyno) a difference with you exhaust bolt ons....but trust me...its in your head...you arent going that much faster if any...
