Hey I am about to get a new head gasket and new alternator any suggestion on what brand to get? I am also changing my trany fluid what is a good brand to get for that also
I am a aggressive driver and this is the first trany change i am doing

 

Honda MTF.

 

Headgasket, go with Honda.
Tranny fluid, go with Honda.
Alternator (if you haven't already bought one), I'd recommend
calling auto places in your area. If not, I'd recommend hitting
up e-Bay. AlterStart has auctions on e-Bay for high output
alternators that are completely new.

i'm on a car audio forum (elitecaraudio.com), and i've heard people say that the high output alternators on ebay aren't reliable at all. they take a stock alternator, and rebuild it with more coils of wire, so it makes more power. i almost bought one until i read what car audio gurus thought about them.

I'm assuming most of those people were running fairly large audio/video systems?
If that's the case, that may have been their issue. I've heard many good things from many people about AlterStart.

alternator, Beck-Arnley is a good after market brand for Hondas, made in Japan most of the time also...one w/a lifetime warranty is always a plus too no matter what brand you get!
