Default New to the GSR world

I just got a 2000 GSR from my wife that had a bent valve and was using more oil then a freight train. So I had the top and bottom end of the motor rebuilt using all stock parts other then I put type R pistons in her. A DC header high flow cat and cat back exhaust.

air intake I have opened the top and put a K&N filter in and I made and strap that holds it in place. I did this because it looked to me that the bottom of the air box was pulling cold air for a pipe going down to the front of the car.

I have never raced the car and have no idea what the HP or WHP is and I was hopping some one out there could help me. My big Bro just got a stock 04 WRX wagon with a cat back and is dieing to race me. I don’t know if my car will take him or not. I know the car fills fast.

What can I do to help it come a live a little more? And how would my car stand up with a WRX?

One more thing I have been trying to find out the weight of my car

Thanks,
Evan

I'm going to lock this due to the bench racing. Feel free to start another thread to ask the other tech questions.
