Default new-b w/ problems

heard about the forum from a friend that was trying to explain what i should do about my problem. i have a 1995 ls integra that is all show but no go. i have a fear of putting go into it because it has 133,000 miles on it. its mostly highway but i am interested in finding out about turbos. i drove my buddy's 91 eclipse with a t3/to4e turbo and fell inlove. im definitly looking forward to a turbo but do you all think its too high of a milage to risk it on? should i just do a type r swap or even a ls swap with lower miles. i eventlually want to get deep but buying on a college budget. also i was looking around at the diferent complete kits from rev hard greddy hks etc. which size turbo should i go with and from who is most reliable. i appriciate any ones help.

First off, I would like to welcome you to Honda-Tech, I hope you find this website as informative as I have. To answer your question, the Honda B series engines are extremely durable and have held wonderfully, even at high milage, to mild turbo setups. Your best bet is to have a leakdown and compression test. If the results look good, then you shouldn't have anything to worry about, if they don't look good, then consider your other options before setting your mind to an ITR swap. Perhaps a mild LS/VTEC would work in your favor, or perhaps you'll go all out for the show and invest in a K series swap. All I'm saying is that there are plenty of options available to you, don't rule anything out at this point.

i appriciate the feedback but i also have a few more question. i kinda understand the series of engines. but are the k series. but also i want the most amount of power for a decent amount of price. what should be my readinds from the test so i can compare? also if the test results go in my favor would you recommend keeping my engine? rebuild the internals? etc. also my story goes as is. i love my integra... like everyone else but i put money into a body kit and paint...no rims yet...now im sick of lossing to these wimp cars that i should be beating. the show no go theory of mine is gone. i want a turbo though. i want to destory those cars like everyone else. now i heard that the ls 1.8 motor is the strongest torque? is that true? i also heards that if i put a type r head on the ls block it would be the strongest combo. please if you could try and explain to me what would be the best? thank for your time.
