Default New auto turbo track times!

I went to englishtown yesterday and actually got 4 runs in on a wednsday!! Thats amazing in itself. However I beat my previous best of 14.4 at 98.9 to hit my highest goal (with the auto) of LOW 14's and I am now a member of the 100mph club!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
R/T: .772
60': 2.413
330: 6.298
1/8: 9.409
MPH: 78.29
1000: 12.093
1/4: 14.338
MPH: 101.29

I'm SOOO STOKED!!!!!!! for me, and for my baby!!!

Yes the engine is still stock, and so is the tranny for almost a year and 15k miles. Neither have ever been touched. Car is running fine for everyone that wants to know.

All you better ph34r the automatic turbo hondas with consistent 2.4 60's The only car yesterday that beat me off the line was a AWD WRX lol, and the only car that beat me in the 1/4 (out of wrx, v8 brand new stang, pickup truck, turbo teg) was the turbo teg with a 13.6.

Auto's are the only way to go in drag racing...to get the auto to handle more power you can put in more frictions in the clutch packs...and do some mods to the vavle body...then get a high stall torque converter...and then go on to modifying the transmission ecu and it's shift programming...hehehe (tranny ecu is on the driver's side kick panel)

Autos are great for turbo..

You can let your boost climb right up..

Just hold the break, mash the gas and there goes the boost..high high high!

Good times, congrats!

I couldn't tell you what I'm powerbraking at, but its probably right around 3000rpms.

I do plan on building my motor, but first 5spd swap, then standalone, then motor bullet proofed

I hope the tranny holds too, but I'm not worried about it holding just another month or so when I take it out. Its funny how long my tranny is lasting with not a single mod to it. I mean my friend with a 97 eclipse completely stock auto turbo had his tranny blow up on him. He doesn't even goto the track.

Makes me put actual pride into honda autos if they can take the abuse I threw at it and still keep getting lower on times everytime I goto the track.

Tranny cooler is a GOOD idea, but I myself don't have one.

I'm not sure what you mean, if you don't torque break then you will launch REALLY ***, but its better for the tranny if you don't....
