Re: Need pic of tranny mount (vteg)
thanks. It looks like the shop was right, the car has a 1990-93 cable tranny housing, but with 94+ hydro tranny internals. It doesnt have three bolts in the front of the tranny, and the top mount is different, looks more like the G2 tranny mount. because the mount is missing the engine looks slanted to the left. I gotta find a new LS tranny and two new mounts.

Re: Need pic of tranny mount (oatsuzn)
A cable tranny with a hyro clutch, whats this mean, as far as implications? All I can figure out is the gear ratio is shorter than the stock 94+ hydro tranny. Is that good or bad? Also what about the clutch master cylinder and the slave cylinder what part do they play? Im figuring they still operate the same, Ive changed my slave + bled my clutch in the past, cause the clutch pedal was sticking, but its still sticking

The master pushes fluid through the hydraulic line causing the slave to push a piston on the fork disengaging the clutch.
I am not sure what you mean by "sticking".

Re: Need pic of tranny mount (vteg)
yeah it does work, cause thats what it has, the release fork and and slave are on the hydro clutch housing, its just the gear box thats cable. the shop didnt think it was possible.
what i meant by sticking was the clutch pedal stopped coming up, all in one motion. it kind of sits there, but i searched for it and figured it out. my master cylinder needs to be replaced, theres a little fluid underneath the dash, and i already replaced the slave and it didnt help.
