Default Need an opinion.

Ok well I was talkin to my brother and acouple of friends about what I want to do to my 94 4 door teg and they told me im better off just buying a new integra... now I wanna know what you guys think. Do you think I should mod my 94 Integra LS 4 door with 150k miles? (It needs new paint since its kinda fading away, new suspension since my factory stuts are blown, and it kinda needs new wheel because the ones on it right now are gross i dont know what the previous owner was thinking. I also want the 98+ front end and I want a black interior) or should I buy a lower mileage 2 door? For the ammount of money I would spend on it I think I could buy a 98+ 2 door LS or just go out and spend a little more on a GSR and then mod it for basic daily driving (possibly supercharge it but not turbo). What do you guys think?

In the end it comes down to what you think... How the other cars you see for sale compare, how much time you want to put into your car. How much money you have to spend... Since you live in Lowell, I would fix the 4dr, and leave it stock unless you want to get it stolen. Unless you have a garage or an expensive alarm system.

I dont wanna keep it stock... I just wanna keep the car lookin stock but mod the motor and I think starting with a new one might be best... my plans were to make like an all around car fast but not too fast probably supercharge it but not turbo a car I can take to the track and it can hold its own ground but like I said before not too fast.

I just about finished rebuilding my 94 LS, there are alot if little details I have left, and I couldn't be happier. No better feeling than knowing that I built my car and didn't just buy someone else's car. Built not Bought is the way for me!

im saying that I wanna buy a good solid platform to build off of. I dont wanna buy a car thats already moded. I wanna get a bone stock car and then mod it to my tastes.

Then why are you asking for opinions if you already know what you want to do? BTW I am not trying to be a ***** or anything like that.

your only going to get to a certain point with an ls sedan without spending serious money. and from what you "need" as you said your already looking a considerable amount. at least in my wallet. those cars are heavy as **** especially the sedans. i would def get a bone stock coupe integra. by the way 94-01 all have the same front end

There is only a 100 lb difference. It comes down to which YOU like better, the 2 door or the 4 door. Personally, I have a 2 door, but I wouldn't kick a 4 door out of bed, they are sweet as well. Don't you want to be that guy that beats 2 doors with your 4 door,... sleeper anyone?

The 98+ front ends are a lil diffrent if I remeber correctly the bumper has a diffrent design to it and the headlights are bigger but any way I dont know what to do... it all comes down to this bascially... the money that I would spend on my LS 4 door would probably be enough to buy a 2 door LS or I could spend the extra money and get a GSR but yet again I could just do my suspension, wheels, and brakes and possibly repaint it and be fine with it and just not mod it at all since it does have 150k miles on the motor and I dont plan on getting a new one. A black interior would be nice but I have no need for it since my Tan interior is in extremely good shape for its age... it has no stains, no tears, it looks almost new lol... I may just do my suspension, brakes, and wheels and finish my system that I started and just let it be a reliable daily driven car with few to no performance mods. It could use a respray because the paint isnt in great shape and there are small dime sized dings and dents here and there but when I spent 7 hours detailing it last summer it looked pretty good but I guess time will tell... If I can get a respray quote of around 2k just to respray it back to the factory white and replace the front and rear bumpers and headlights to the 98+ ones id do it and probably keep it.
