I have a dc2 ls. Recently just bought me a obd2 to ob1 harness.
Was wondering if i can buy a 92-93 ls ecu to connect it to my car. Or i can only buy a p28 ecu??

I was wondering... is that a good idea swapping a obd2 for obd1 performance wise? i have a '96 gsr and i've herd that was the 1st year they put in the obd2 and that the obd1 was better in '95 and older - if i did swap what kind of changes should i expect?.. im new to all the computering involved in tuning - Thanks

If you're just planning on swapping in a stock OBD-1 ECU, it certainly won't be worth the cost or effort, and there won't be any real performance gain to speak of. Generally, converting to OBD-1 is done in order to run a tunable setup such as Uberdata or Hondata.

Yah thats what i was considering - i've been on the hondata website for about 2 hrs learning what i can. I haven't found anywhere on the website where it says obd2 - so i figured i could go to a obd1 and grab a s200 computer and start tuning..
If i were to get a obd1 could i just grab it out of an older teg from a junkyard? because theres about 1000 junkyards in my area, would it just be a matter of finding the right year? (not taking into consideration the model)

SINCE you do have a turbo set up, you definately should go with an obd 1 ecu. You can actually use any 1992-95 civic/integra ecu, but since you have an LS, search for obd 1 92-93 pr4 ecu or 94-95 p75 ecu. Be sure to look into uberdata or hondata since turbo's usually need extensive tuning.
BTW: if you dont have a vtec motor, then YOU DONT NEED a p28 ecu! You need a non vtec LS ecu
