There should not be a problem using an engine start button with Auto start. If remote start is what you mean by auto start, then my statement is true. A remote start system sends a signal to the ignition system and starter to start the engine. The engine start button does just about the same thing. They work independantly from each other, so they shouldn't interfere.
just make sure when u install the button u put it closer to the switch side of the wire so u dont interupt the remote staters signal...thats only problem ull have...
can someone post up some pictures of how they did it? (with or without remote start) im thinking about getting one also but just wondering would this mean i cant start the engine by cranking the engine with the key? would i have to use this button all the time? post couple tips and pictures of how to do it and things i should look out for

When you insert your key in the ignition and switch it to the IGN (ignition) position, ACC, IG1, and IG2. After you depress your clutch (in manual) or brake pedal (in automatic), you turn the key allow current to flow from the batter to the starter. Since the ACC, IG1, IG2 are already powered up, your engine starts.
When you install a start button, you connect one side of the start button to the starter and the other side to the IG2 +12V output from the ignition switch (This prevents you from cranking the starter which the rest of the system isn't powered). Its a very easy install if you can perform elementary electrical work.
