i searched it but i couldn't find a problem that was exactly like mine. i have a whistling and rattling noise whenever my car is idling. once i step on the gas, the noise goes away. ive dealt with it for a few months, however today, the whistling got a lot louder and my idle keeps dipping lower. i noticed the rattling and whistling only makes noises when my idle hits about 700-800. its getting super annoying and as i was driving to work today when the whistling was getting loud at a red light, my check engine light came up. any input? i adjusted the TB to have my idle higher so that i could avoid the sound, however nothing changed.

maybe a vaccum leak or tb leak take some brake cleaner and spray over the tb and the vaccum lines and the whole intake if the car reves up or dies down there is your prob. what is the cel code in the car?
