my car is throwing a check engine light, i checked the code its 02 sensor heater wire failure. The manual says to check the current in the wires but i dont have a volt meter nor do i want to be under my car in 20 degree weather. My question: do i have to get a new sensor now or can this be fixed? Also suprisingly i havent really noticed a drop in performance, and gas mileage is maybe 1mpg less then usual.

 

110k on the stock sensor....i called the dealer already they told me $215 for a new sensor. Anyone have hookups for oem parts?

try getting one of those aftermarket 02 sensors a tad cheaper, like bosch etc.
