I've searched and turned up nothing if someone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated
My issue is I just replaced my rear tailgate on my integra and the latch doesn't line up with the locking mechanism so I just need to move it back about an inch

Can you post a picture? An inch sounds a bit extreme on that part. You sure everything is as it should be? Was the car ever rear ended?

Ditto the above^^^ need to see a pic., 1" is way off, the lock/latch has a little adjustment, [mostly up and down] and the striker has a little adjustment left and right, but not sure if you can get 1" out of both of them.

Is the hatch lining up, [same gap on either side all the way from the top to the bottom] how about the gap along the roof line and top of hatch, is it even? 94

i might have exaggerated with the 1'' off, the hatch closes but it hits a bit of the rear, but as far as it being rear ended i don't think so its a clean title vehicle so no accidents were reported, ill take a picture later tonight after im off of work

You do have the tailgate stoppers in place, right?

Sounds like the hatch is out of alignment.
