my motor is a obd2 motor, previous I had a obd1 distributor installed on my car and it ran like ****, now I got a obd2 distributor, the car wont start, it sounded like it was going to but it wont, it only crank. what could it be????

I have a 94 gsr teg recently blew the motor, now bought a 96 gsr and got it in. previously had problem with obd2 distributor and got the obd1 lying around and decided to put it on and it worked but ran like ****, now got the obd2 on but it wont start it cranks, sounding like it was going to start but it wont, I'm using a p28 with skunk 2 chip. what should I consider looking at???what are some of the problems I will have with this obd2 into obd1???

it looks like you did not swap some sensors need
all you had to do is while both engines are out
look and swap sensors that are needed

maybe one of the vacums is connected wrong as well
but since you are using a chipped p28 stick to the obd1 distributor..
check all vacums and compare old block to new block..

 

You will have to run the OBD-1 ECU to run off of the P28. I know there are other issues, but I'm not sure as to exactly what they are. Search is your friend.
