NEED HELP!!!
have a 91 ls that is overheating already changed thermostat, radiator and cap, a/c fan relay and the car still overheats when a/c is on and at a stop dont know what else to do pls help this is gettin irritating replacing things thanks in advance
Overheating is always irritating like that...all I can say is put some power directly to your cooling fan to make sure it actually works. Otherwise it may be your water pump...when was the last time it was changed? Does coolant disappear on you, leak on the ground or does the engine consume it somehow?? Hopefully not a headgasket or cracked head. Is the oil milky at all? Did it ever overheat real bad?
no engine never overheated really bad and oil just changed no fluid dissappearing and fan worked when power straight to battery so maybe it might be a fan swictch hopefully no head gasket or cracked head
take a look at your water pump, you won't necessarily <sp? see any fluid leaking cause water pumps have a weep hole. the fluid will basically evaporate.
but look at your water pump and see if it's all covered in gunk *dirt and coolant*

Its probably just the water pump, but the same thing was happening to my friends car, it kept overheating and it got to the point where steam was coming from his exhaust and his oil was milky, turned out to be a blown head gasket, is there steam coming out of your exhaust?...if so then your head gasket is gone
