Ok let me first start with what I was told happend to my teg. I let my sister borrow it and I guess she was at a signal and it stopped running and would not restart. It was towed to a shop where they told me quote:

"Engine was found to have had timing belt teeth stripped away and engine valve damage due to piston/valve interference. Possible cylinder head damage also aquired. Recommend cylinder head repair or engine replacement."

I was just curious as to what I should do now. The motor has about 134,000 miles on it and on hmotorsonline I can get a longblock for $750 with around 30,000 miles which seems like the right path currently to me to go considering it takes off 100,000 miles of which my current motor has. Please I'm not seeking to be flamed for searching because I tried to search and came up with motor swaps and nothing on replacing a stock motor with the same one. I was thinking I could do this on my own because it is the same block etc... I thought it would be just unplug and disconnect everything and take out the current motor and put in the new one and just replug everything in and that would be it but I'm not sure about this.
