Default n/a compared to boost

what would a stock internal boosted gs/ls motor make on 6lbs compared to a 180 hp n/a gsr, i dont' know much bout tegs, im normally always on the eg threads, but want to get a gs or an ls 4 door, i have a cx right now and want some power options, i mean a gsr swap is bout 3400 and a turbo and the rest of the set up would be about the same, so any opinions or facts would be great, since i don't knwo jack about tegs, and remember this is a learning process so go easy, by the way i don't really know alot about turbos either lol

oh and what colors did the gs/ls sedans come in from 94-01
thanks

First of all, a GSR wont be 180hp when all is said and done. Dynos measure it from the wheels not flywheel, which is what most people go by. It would be around 140-145.

Second of all, do a search

Since when do you need to be rich to afford a civic or integra? They arent high-end sports cars, despite the pedestal some of you seem to try to place them on.

"did straw break on your juice again
aawww its ok. sometimes i forget how young you are. " quote from Bart Simpson.

anyways not to be completely counterproductive, i would suggest going with a GSR rather than doing the swap into an LS. i'd rather start with less hassel myself.
plus you'll get better equipment. as for the turbo at 6psi, don't bother on an LS. don't get me wrong, LS is good for turbo but if you only plan on 6psi then i would pass. for the 3k that you'll spend putting a b18c in an LS, you could probably buy a GSR. but this is just what i would do. hopefully you get more useful info and be able to decide for yourself.

P.S. being nice helps.

Go GS-R swap. At 6psi the LS is only going to make about 200hp, and it will be less reliable than a GS-R swap.

Better yet - Sell LS. Buy GS-R. Come out less $$ than swapping a motor.

comp is slow as hell so i didn't [search]
I love it when people use this as an excuse. It takes just as much time and/or processing time to load the "New Topic" page as it does to search! Doesn't matter if you're using a 12yr old computer or a 12 day old computer...

any of you notice the swarms of gay-*** threads by newbies lately? I liked this board a lot better when H-A.net was getting all of the ricers and H-T.com was pretty much a tech forum. Now it's altezzilez up da shizzlezzz
