my Da keeps stalling!! Help
Hi I just bought a da two weeks ago getting it ready for Honda day. When I bought it the owner said it needed a fuel filter and distributor. I replaced the fuel filter and distributor only thing is I haven't timed the distributor yet. Could this cause my vehicle to stall. It will stall and after about 5-10 mins it will turn back over but eventually stall again after I drive it for five minutes. If I time the distributor and it keeps stalling what should I check for next?
Check fuel pressure.
Check PGM-FI Main Relay, a common problem on older Honda/Acura...

Get an HEI spark tester, [$10-$15, handy tool to have] and test for spark on all cylinders when engine stalls. 94

I am no mechanic, but I did have a very similiar situation some years back. I changed everything from the plugs to the cap, the dis module and relay and still no dice. It ended up being the fuel pump, whenever it got hot it would just shut off and would not start. Wait ten minutes cranks up like a champ, drive ten minutes, off again. It took me over an hour our to get to an autopart store that was only 35 minutes away.
