im havin a problem with this since i turn the key to on and theres no check engine....but after about 5 minutes while driving the car the light goes on....also runs kinda wierd after check engine light turns on......it a ls/vtec set up wit itr ecu

I had this problem im bad with cars but the light would come on and my car would start hopping it was the speedo cable was not in right.

 

I try pullin a code but it does not work since the light only turn on intill like 2nd gear......so its hard to pull the code...icant even run no one....since it bog really badlly
