Default my car died and wont start now

i was driving home from dinner and all of a sudden my car starts to slow down and then die. there was still power and everything... it just wouldnt turn on. it cranks but it wont budge. i thought it was the battery but everything was still on. i was still able to use the headlights and every electrical thing. then a couple of hours later. i tried turning it on again. it cranked, but the cranking got slower and slower. then, it just started clicking. so i recharged the battery. after it was charged, my bro, uncle and i decide to check for spark. there was nothing. my uncle checked the wires with some lil gadget and none of them wires matched #s. they kinda varied. but not too bad i think. but my uncle and my brother were mentioning "ignition coil" or "starter" things which i have no clue on how to fix. so if you guys can shoot a diagnosis to me, it would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Could possibly be your ignition module (inside dizzy), also check your rotor is in good condition. Managed to throw the screw holding my rotor once and had the exact same symptoms. Good luck.

probably the ignitor (inside the dizzy).

definitely the igniter. if you go to honda, there's a newer part # that costs half as much and lasts longer. hopefully somebody who has the part # can chime in. i think the old ones are black and the new ones are brown or something?

That sounds right, but I'm not 100% sure.
