Default Msd??

the other day this guy was talkin how he is getting msd for his integra and if any of u guys can explain to me what that is what does it do and what kind of gains can he expect

As far as whp gains - little if any depending on his motor and setup.

MSD Ignition products are mostly for FI where a greater spark is needed in certian applications. In general, people who have them on their n/a motors are just going to get better gas mileage on their car and that's it.

FYI, that guy (I forget his name) with the 9 second n/a civic is using the stock ignition system. You might want to look into a different mod.

Basically, unless you are running 200whp, you won't need an MSD ignition box. The stock coil works good enough.

A 6al box may help. But the wires and coils are useless, IMO. I have them both, I didnt feel anything.
