motor question

Default motor question

is the b18a1 and the b18b the same block. im doing a turbo build and need to know cuz im getting the 18a block for dirt cheap. im putting the b18b had on it but need to know definitely if the blocks are gonna match no problem

if im correct the b18a is the first gen ls/rs blocks and the b18b's are the second gen

yeah you cant still use the older one and the "3rd" gen head. i believe the 3rd gen head is a tiny bit better than the 2nd gen. not quiet sure why the reason is. but yeah everything will still hook up the same.

Bigger ports. But yes, it will bolt up exactly the same.

cool thanx for the info. im getting a 93 ls bottom and a 98 ls head. the bottom is going to the shop soon along with the head to get p&p and sleeved.
