help with steering
I have a 95se and I slid into a curb and bent something on my right front suspension. I got an estimate from a local body shop and they said I needed a new steering knuckle and wheal bearing and maybe a new control arm. Thing is, they can't really know whats bent until it's taken apart. Would it be better to take it to Acura?...or should I buy the parts that I think are bent and get it fixed by another mechanic?
Either way I'm looking at $300-$600.
Do I trust the Acura dealer to do all of the work?

its always going to cost more to go to the dealer. if you want it cheaper, take it somewhere else. when it comes to suspension, theres obvious damage or not. its not like they can jack you on the price unless you are totally uneducated when it comes to cars.
I went to East Imports in Grand Rapids and they checked it out and said a bunch of stuff was bent. Upper and lower control arms, tie rod, wheel bearing and hub, bent rim and knuckle for about $2300 repaired.
lol, Looks like I'm going plan B.
How much would one 3rd gen gsr rim cost? I might as well look at some aftermarket rims...
