Motor mount replacement
Ordered some Hasport stock mounts (DCSTK) for my 94 LS. Wondering if anyone's seen any prior threads on replacing motor mounts? Also, what would be the proper way to support the motor while replacing? I'm told that you could support the engine with two jacks? Well, the mounts have been sitting for a month because I'm scared to lose a hand, but I'm tired of looking at them, so if anyone can shed any light on this. Thanks

my mounts r on the way and i'm taking the easy way out and letting a shop install them. the only thread i've seen so far on replacing the mounts was on team-integra and it was just the lower torque mounts. the best way to support the motor would probably be with a couple of jacks and a 2X4. thats what the article says anyways. if u r unsure, u might want to consider the shop. they r only charging me $75 to do it. takes the fun out of it, but i'll still have my hand. good luck.
their fairly easy to do,
when i replaced mine,
do 1 at a time, i have a jack w/wood under supporting it from the oilpan,
have another friend help you, jack up a bit unscrew remove and replace,
don't bolt them up 100% until you have all 3 main ones are in, align

If you're not sure about replacing the mounts,
Don't even bother with the rear firewall mount.
But the sides, all 4 in the front are Very easy,
Like Silver said, just a jack and piece of wood to keep from damaging the oilpan,
Do One at a time and it'll be easy as can be.

The back mount is a pain. I recommend doing the rear mount first since you don't need a jack to hold up the motor and the stock mounts will let the motor sway a bit to get the bracket moved.

Very true, because if you do it after the motor is to stiff to have play.

Thanks everyone. To answer someones question, I think I paid 375, and they have different stiffnesses of poly available. I opted for the softest, but still better than stock. So 2x4 and jack, and do all mounts at the same time? I'm glad I asked, I was just going to do the driver side first since it looked the easiest.
