Default Motor Mount Insert Question

I just installed the lower left and right polyurethane motor mount inserts in because I was advised by Gator Glen that I should reinforce the stock rubber mounts from flexing and blowing out my axles. I have yet to put in the rear one and I am wondering if it is worth the effort to put it in. Does it make that much of a difference?

I can stand the extra vibration of the two, but I don't want to create a whole lot more vibration by putting that rear mount insert in if I don't have to. The motor seems much more responsive and doesn't move around as much as it did before, so the problem they were put in to eliminate is gone.

if you don't put in the back insert, the back of the motor will still torque and move up and down. u have to put all of them in to get the whole effect. If your using the energy kit, vibrations are not that bad compared to some other kits.

Alright. Thanks for the advice.

I will attempt to put the rear one in when I get the gator axles in.

Don't install them until you get a new tranny mount.

You need new, unripped mounts before you can use these and they only work in the two front lower mounts and the rear mount, so it won't fix your tranny mount. They were quite a handful to get in since I had to lower the motor using the upper mounts to get the lower mount over the body lip.
