iight check it out, was driving fine yesterday until car just went out on me headlights went out tacklight started going crazy and car just shut off. let car sit for 20mins and it started right up i got halfway down the block and the car went out again. so i thaught it was the battery, bought a new battery and same thing happened again but when the car sits its like it stuggles to start , could it be my alternator not charging the battery?

I'd start by checking the battery cables.
