one of my buddies just bought a integra ls from a car lot and its got some missing issues with it and he brought it over here to see if i could figure it out and so far i have replaced cap and rotor button, and spark plugs which the car was runnin autolite spark plugs (thats a no no) so i put NGK's in it..ran alil better but still has a bubble noise comin from the exhaust like at idle and misses at low rpm until around 4k and then clears up...im tryin to remember on the coil in the dizzy if the color on it shoould be clear or dark to show if its bad or good i have acouple of coils layin around..but if u guys have any ideas on what u might think it is shoot me some ideas to try/buy

also car has a weird smoke problem but doesnt use oil..if u sit at a red light or let it idle for alil bit it will develop smoke(blue) but if u romp on it or just drivin it, it wont smoke at all..thinkin maybe the valve seals are bad or vavles are just shot..or rings

First off, what's wrong w/ autolite plugs, you obviously haven't heard of RM modified plugs. And how can you be burning oil (blue smoke) but not losing oil? Could it be power steering, brake or clutch fluid leaking onto the exhaust and smoking?

 

hondas just run 10x better with NGK...i bought my teg it had autolites in it and it was runnin shitty put ngk's in it ran like a champ..but anyway..nah i dont think its that..its comin from the muffler not under the hood..

sounds like you should do a leakdown and compression test first. that will tell you if the rings or valves are bad
