this is a repeat post. i originally posted in the civic forum and thought i would give you guys a try.

i have a 1997 civic ex with a 1997 gsr swap and i have a cel on. it is the map sensor. it says that the voltage circuit is high. i figured it was a bad sensor so i replaced it. cel still comes on. i have a zex kit, comp cams, aem v2 cold air intake, 2.5 inch exhaust, an apex vtec controller, and cam gears.
the cell has alway been on but i have had no problems with drivability untill recently.

the problem i am having is sometimes the car boggs down when i accelerate from a stop. it doesn't do it all of the time though. also sometime my idle goes up to 1300 rpms instead of the normal 800 rpms. also the light doesn't come back on after i clear until about 6500 rpms.

i just put the stage one comp cams in this weekend and the problem is now becoming more consistent; however, the problem was present before the cams.
