I know it blink as a reminder of your next oil change. What does it mean when it stays on and doesn't blink at all? I just hit 45k a day or so ago. Is that the reminder for that scheduled maintenance?

Also, anyone still have that pic that shows where the button is. The first oil change the dealer did but, I'm doing them now and I'm tired of the maintenance light blinking

 

Underneath the dash on the right side of the steering column there is a box with a button just hold the button down for a couple seconds and it will go off.

 

The maintenance req. light is just hooked up to the odometer correct? Like a reminder.

 

yeah its just an odometer driven reminder that you hit 45K maintenance and to do the 45K maintenance... after you perform the service you can reset the light by reaching your hand up under the dash by the pedals and pressing and holding the button to reset it...
