My buddies integra's Maint Required light is on. The car has 103k miles. Anyone know why?

Another question is when the lights turn off, i press on the brake pedal and all of the interior lights go on. Dont know why.

ANother thing is when the lights are on and then I put the brakes on, the brake lights on there dont get very bright. Not much of a difference.

Any help?

 

That light usually comes on every 3,000 miles or so to remind you of oil change.

Put key in ignition, turn to first click. Under dash there is a little button, hold that button down for 3 seconds and it will reset....

I think thats right.....

Cant help with the lights....maybe check fuses and make sure there are no grounding issues....

I don't think it comes on every 3k mile... I think its like some 70k or something like that and it pretty much means what it says... "Maintenance Require". As long as your up to par with keeping your car up and running (changing oil, etc) then you should be find. Just reset it.

This might be stupid... but did you checked the bulbs/fuses/lines/cables/etc...?
