hey guys i've had my integra for 8 months now and when i start it up that light comes on and blinks and still blinks for about 5 seconds after all the others go off. what does it mean? i already looked in the manual and it didn't help. my car's got 56500 miles on it a 97 gs, thanks. peace

 

The maintenance light means that it's the car internal time for a oil change. Under the steering wheel there should be a square green button. I think you just press and hold it for a bit then it goes away for another 8 thousand or so miles

 

Here's a picture of the where the button for the light is located.

 

if you change the oil will it automatically reset or does it just come on every 8000 or so miles?

 

there should be a button you need to hold down for a few seconds. it is a little tricky to find but it is under the dash near the stearing column. that should shut it off . I believe the manual tells you what to do and exactly where it is, cause that is where i read it

 

you have to press it every time you change the oil
