Default Main Dash harness diffrences?

I need to change my entire dash harness (the harness runs under the dash, from the fuse bix, to the ecu and out to the engine bay to connect to the engine harness) I have a 97 RS, would a harness from a 96 GSR work?

As far as I understand the colors of wire are all the same for the years, I know some things may be on the harness I dont have, such as ABS, Cruise, and a few other things. The ECU plugs have Vtec wiring and a KS is that a problem? I want to do this without cutting any wires...or pinning any connectors. So its got to fit directly. Anyone know if this harness will work directly?

Let me put this another way...If for some reason I wanted to put an LS motor into a GSR body, what wiring changes would need to be done? This is not what I intend on doing, but should answer the question.

if its the same obd then there wont be anything necesary but youll have extra plugs hanging on the ls engine....

but if you do it the other way around wherey ou put a gsr in an ls car then you need the gsr wire harness and a couple extra wires for the vtec solenoid.
