Default Lug Nuts

Okay, I need some new lug nuts. The ones I currently have are really rust and look like crap.

My question is simple. I don't know much about the different brands of lug nuts, which ones have good/bad reputation. Anyone got any comments on the following ones?

- TiTek Race Lug Nuts
- T1R Forged Aluminum Lug Nuts
- J's Racing Lug Nuts

Also, I'm not sure what kind of lug nuts I need. I'm ordering them from a website which gives me different options, such as long, short, open, closed etc... Anyone know which ones I'd have to get to replace the ones on these wheels?

Okay, so the "M12 x 1.5" ones then. Anyone got any input on those brands above?

I'm guessing the j's racing would be the best, and of course the most expensive. Make sure your rims don't require "tuner" lug nuts, they aren't as wide as regular lugs. I believe they are about 20MM across.

I will never trust aluminum lugs again, after seeing how they wore for me.

If you are ok with them conceptually, any of those brands should be reasonable quality.

That aside, be certain to get the correct lug seat shape for your wheels. Should be taper seat for aftermarket wheels.

I was thinking of getting these ones:

The T1R aluminum wheel nuts are extremely strong. Made out of CNC machined cold forged aluminum with ultra lightweight design. Each nut weighs 18g (0.39 lbs). Available in anodized blue, purple, or black.

Matching T1R Wheel Locks are also available.

Please specify size.
M12 x 1.5 application: Fits Hondas, Acuras, Toyotas, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi etc.
M12 x 1.25 application: Fits Subarus, Nissans, etc.

NOTE: LUG NUTS ARE MADE WITH TAPERED BOTTOMS SPECIFICALLY FOR AFTERMARKET WHEELS. DO NOT USE THESE TUNER LUGS FOR YOUR FACTORY WHEELS. WE NO LONGER ACCEPT RETURNS ON LUG NUTS FROM CUSTOMERS WHO ATTEMPT TO USE THEM ON FACTORY WHEELS. THESE LUGS ALSO DO NOT FIT ON SPECIAL WHEELS THAT REQUIRE INVERTED LUGS. WE WILL ALSO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS FROM CUSTOMERS THAT TRY TO USE THEM FOR THESE TYPES OF WHEELS.

(All caps fail by the website I'm buying them from... )

I have enkei aftermarket rims, I'm guessing these tapered tuner lugs are what I need... I guess I could always pull one out and see what it looks like.
