I think he meant, " Will an LSVT with a built bottom end be stronger than a GSR ?"

If the LSVT is built and the GSR is not... definitedly LSVT will be stronger.

with stock internals?

not unless you wanna get with the mad scientist and pull apart the block to replace the piston rings you'd fry......along with the rods you'd throw.

the ls has a bad r/s ratio for high revs......HOWEVER, building up the bottom end with forged rods/ARP rod bolts definitely helps. High revs are much easier to come by and safer to do; your engine will also last a lot longer.

i think we have gone over this a million times if ur gonna do an lsvtec do it right...dont do a half as job so it lasts a week....replace everything...if ur gonna just rig it togather and use all the old and stock parts i wouldnt bring it over 7200.......if u do it right with forgred rods and pistons u could really bring it up to whatever u want..my car makes power all the way up to 9k
