so this wont work ?? what do you mean by bottleneck? since im not out at the track all time i figured i could stick with oem parts.

I have heard a couple people say they used the b16 bolts and they worked well up to stock redline... plz correct me if im wrong its just i have a new set of 16a rod bolts sitting here and would rather use them if i could.

thanks

ARP rod bolts...I think they're around $45.

Took my ls/vtec to 8800rpm w/o any problems.

All of you guyz iz probably right...but it all boils down to reliability. Honda would've done it to begin with if it was all that great. But, everyone is entitle to they opinion, and my personal take on it is a waste, juss buy a B18C1 if you gonna drop all the greenbacks to get an LS/VTEC!

including itr tranny & lsd..more like 6K+. btw, theres no need for eagle rods for your setup, its overkill.

why spend 6 grand on ls vtec when you can get a type r full swap for like 4500? plus have the reliability of a stock honda motor.?????? i'm sorry but 6 grand is a waste... just to have something that a semi built gsr will smoke.

I meant the set..rod and head bolts. Smart investment to go ahead and upgrade the head bolts also so you have no fears of it lifting at high rpms.

Trust me...my father works for Acura. As I said, it's a waste of money...and Honda would've thought of that great idea in the first place.....just invest in a B18C5 and get the JDM conversion as everyone else was saying....

If Honda had thought that RWD was a great idea, all Hondas would have it. If Honda thought that Turbo was a great idea then they would have done that too. If your dad thought that using a condom was a good idea...
