LS Vtec Question
If I go LSVtec, would it be cheaper if I build the head or just look for one that is complete? If I were to build the head, what would I need? Please list everything that ya'll think that I might need. Thanks.
Depends on your goals. If you have specific goals, it will be hard to find a complete head to suit your needs. But to build a head:
1. Port and polish
2. Valve job
3. Cams
4. Valves (OEM valves are fine too)
5. Springs and retainers
6. Mill
7. Valve stem seals (optional)

Exactly, you have to set your goals and decide what would be best. You can also find complete built heads for decent prices in the market place.
