Default ls vtec question

Now, I know there have been many threads upon this situation, and please consider me new to the honda/acura world... but I have a 95 integra ls b18b1 engine in my 97' civic ex. I would like to convert it over to vtec, and I learned that any b series head will fit. I want to do a full conversion to be safe and do it properly so my engine doesn't go sky-high. What parts are needed in order to do a full converson to make this work properly and efficiently?

Also, which b series head would you prefer?

thx guys

I would recommend a B16 head, even though I have a GSR head.
