Default LS/VTEC knock sensor

About ready to start the LS/VTEC and just wondering about the issue of a knock sensor.

I have a 94 LS and will be replacing the head with a B16A1 (1st gen) is there an issue about wiring up a knock sensor?

skribblah . Its all in how you build it and what components you use. Dont post false opinionated things on this board if you dont know what the hell your talking about.

Now are you currently running an ecu that requires a knock sensor or are you just wanting to add one???

I'm using a P28 ECU and i'm not sure if my black or the B16a1 has a knock sensor that needs to be wired up.

you won't need to wire in a knock sensor if youre using the p28 ecu. im using the same ecu on my 94 ls/vtec, but i have an sir2 head.

even if you dont need to wire it up to the ecu
you could always install it and wire it up to a LED somewhere
in your dash as a safety measure since the LS/vtec is more
sensitive to detonation so you could visit

http://www.c-speedracing.com

and go thru the steps.
if you want its up to your discretion

and here would be the new location for your ks on the block
and -skriblah- is just trying to help on this sittuation since
this subject was already xplored and dont forget new issues
arises and well just debate them to get to a conclusion.
