***THE REASON IM POSTING HERE IS CUZ THE HONDA GUYS ARE NO HELP***

alright the deal is i have a 97 civic hb with b18c head, b20b block. (gsr hear, crv block) known as the crvtec or lsvtec take your pick. anyways when i bought the car, the throttle cable was NOT sitting on a mount but instead zip tied to a fuel line. The cable is from an acura LS for some reason and is too long. I cannot adjust the tension for 2 reasons, it is too long and there is no mounting bracket. the spindle where the cable is winded up is there on the throttle body. Ive called honda and acura dealers and honda specific shops but no one can help me.

as the list shows, people have a wide range of opinions. i also need the mounting bracket so that poses even more problems...if anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate some feed back.

i posted this one first....you guys DID help and this is the first time someone did in like a week since ive been posting. i hit up all the different boards as a last resort haha and its true the honda guys werent help until you guys today.
