just put in ls vtec petty good no oil leaks its been about 5-6 days, anyways when doing the head swap did a valve adjustment but i hear a "klinking" that comes from the intake side. my buddy has a ls vtec in his car and says that the sound is the injectors. so has anyone else heard of injector making noise or sould i try to have another valve adustment done, oh also the valve adj. was done to GSR specs (i have a 95 GSR head on 94 LS block, all stock)

 

I have never heard an injector make a "klinking" noise. It sounds like your valves to me, but I would have to listen to it to be sure. But it sounds like you need another valve adjustment.

 

injector click is pretty loud. heres a way to tell: take any screw driver thats decently long, put the head of the screwdriver on the valve cover or right below it, then put your ear on the handle. now take the screw driver, put it on the injector and put your ear on the handle, which one is louder?

Perfect answer to locate where the noise is.. exactly same thing i do but i use the big *** wrench ...

 

hey thanks 3.504, i did the screwdriver idea and it was the injectors , so i took the ones off my LS head on and still same noise. the noise is still definently comin from the injectors, so is it my ecu that is making the injectors so loud???
