Default ls vtec

i have a ls distributor on it and connected the vtec it kicks in but but i heard if i get a b16 distributor will make my vtec engage harder.

wow

just get the correct dizzy for your motor. you need a vtec dizzy to match the vtec head. but make sure you get the same OBD as your head

i put on the stock dizzy for my ls /vtec

so i could drive to my friends shop and have him help me to a odb swap on the correct dizzy ;P i wasnt happy about cutting off a ear and driving around on it all the time. i could just see the timing adjusting itself ;P

To simply answer your question, the distributor will in no way shape or form affect vtec engagement. Or as you put it 'kick in harder.' Whoever told you that deserves a swift kick in the noots!

I have an LS dizzy on a GSR because my gsr one fried out, the LS one works fine, the 1 bolt is holding strong and i havent had any problems at all
