sorrie for the newbish question but does the B18B1 Block + B16A2 Head = LS/VTEC??? i really need to kno, thanks in advance!

B18 nonvtec block plus any B series vtec head is considered a LS/VTEC

Beat me to the draw on asking ! What other parts (if any) would be needed?

well this is a bold statement, of course the ITR/CTR head flows the best, the B16A Head flowed 8% better than a B18C1 (GSR) Head on a flow bench. and normally the cheapest head you will find is the B16A so id go with that.

but if u work the gsr head, it flows crazy numbers.

there use to be alot of prep work for ls/vtec. but now alot of comapnies like Golden Eagle make the kit with the dowel pins, and the plugs, an fittings, lines, and sandwhich plate making it literally a bolt together conversion.

http://www.import-palace.com sells the golden eagle kit.
