It will still flow normaly. No worries. The oil galley's and water jackets are not constructed completely the same between LS and VTEC heads, so theres gonna be a little shape difference, but as long as it's not constricting a lot of the jacket, it's fine.
Thx man that's what I thought. It's not much just wanted to be sure I hate doing things twice. Preciate ya!

Really? They make a custom head gasket? ^
Good info if true. You can get away with either a b16 or ls headgasket. You will here differences everywhere, but as long as they are facing up, you are good

Their head gasket isn't custom, sorry. If I recall right they said it is a OEM gasket from Honda and I believe it is a VTEC gasket. Like I said it was 5 years ago. I could be wrong. Just something to look in to.
I just did a Ls-v build on my teggy about a month ago. The only difference in the ls head gasket to the b16/18 are the guide pin holes you have to drill out. I decided to go with the ls head gasket, but you can use either. There's no going around the fact that you have to drill the holes for the guide pins. So if you have a b16 gasket already use it.
Also, I made a Ls-v kit from gearheads. They sell oil sandwich plates and the steal breaded lines. In all, I think I spent around 150 In materials over the 300 for a golden eagle kit. I know most people have to have the name brand **** but if you're doing a budget build like I was it saves the pocket a nice chunk of change.
