Default LS rim question

I'm having a discussion with a friend of mine.

He says all LS' 98+ even, came with HUBCAPS.. He has the mesh rims on his Civic and he says they're GS rims and that LS rims never came stock with those, that true? He'll owe me a lumberjack at denny's if not

well, that indeed appears to be an LS. From what i thought , maybe this is in later years that wheel was an option on the LS model but standard equiptment on the GS model. IN most cases however this will be found on all GS and LS cars bacause it was an easy way for the dealer to tak on some additional cash at the time of sale.

the 98+ LS's didnt come with hubcaps, but it did have the weaksauce 14" "snowflake" wheels...then acura ditched those and used the same wheel for the GS and LS.

for the 94-97 the only ones with rims were the gsrs and the SE maybe some gs's. as for the 98+ only 98-99 RSs came with hub caps. as for the 00-01 integra i've never even seen an RS. thats just me though.

the last year the RS was sold in the states was 98. all RS came with hubcaps.

94-97 LS came with hubcaps.

98 LS came with the 14" alloys that look like a giant sunflower.

99-01 LS came with 15" mesh alloys. these are the same rims found on the 97 GS-R and 98-01 GS.

Yup, sounds right.

The '98 LS wheels don't look that bad in person, but they're still crappy 195/60-14 like the '94-'97 LS steelies. I've been using '98 LS wheels for the past year now, but I'll finally have some real nice aftermarket wheels on it by the end of this week.
