LS Max boost
5-8 psi very safely
It's been said a ton of times but it all comes down to the tuning. A bad tune could blow your engine at 5-8 psi. A good tune could achieve you in the 250whp range possibly even more depending on your setup etc. and you could run with that reliably for quite a while.

^ what he said, depends on the tuner, if you get a good tuner you can actually run probably 16psi on stock internals with a bigger MAP sensor(ours max out at 11.2 psi). I've been running 10psi on my LS for about 6 months now, first 4 months on a street tune then finally dyno tuned for this past 2, making 254whp 211tq @ 10psi.
The consensus is usually about 8-10psi. Of course you have to tune it well. Your motor could be fine at 15psi, but it could also blow at 1psi.
i have only pushed my ls to to 10psi but tunin makes a difference. i pushed out 230.4hp and 189.2lb ft torque tuned with an apexi S-AFC. cool thing was i did that on 5psi!!! LS is the ****
