i would go straight turbo. you cant go wrong with that. just get your block built and peice together a turbo kit. its way cheaper then buying one of those name brand kits. boost it!

Well the way I look at it is you;ve prolly spent almost 1k with your current mods. And it doesn;t take a genious to figrue out that the car is still slow(no offense) but you wouldn't be makingthis thread if it wasn't

Fact is Turbo has a great $/power ratio. I've never been fond of all motor setups(Ls), and we all know a Supercharged b18b is nothing but disapointment, and you said yourself you don't want to spray.

Thier are tons of succesful Turbo Ls's setups, it seems to be the new thing for people who want to go fast without spending a ton of $$$$.

go with turbo. you'll dig the boost!

if you want a simple setup, then it should cost you around $4k. $2700-$3000 for a kit. $400 for a clutch. $200-300 for misc parts like air/fuel guage.. unless you pay more for the fancier kinds. then depending on if you pay to get it installed... labor is around $500+.

sell the parts you have now and you can make at least $500+ for all that stuff.

i disagree, as you can see on team-itegra.net,there is a actual dyno of just bolt on ls integra's making around 132 hp and 125 pounds of torque. Then they added crower cams and came out with 149 hp 135 pounds of torque. They had it tuned with aem cam gears, and a fpr and made 152 hp 138 pounds of torque. Not saying this is nasty or anything, but thats what 5 mods done over time.Something in me cant justify spending 4-5k on my teg at once, besides the car it self which was 4500.If you want further power after these mods(im sure you will) i would invest in a b18c5 head, you get better cams, manifold, mild port/polish job, then a b16 head. And while you have it apart bore out the pistons, then hone them and have custom overbored pistons placed in.You should make close too 200 NA power.Sorry kinda got out of hand, put once again you can do thise stuff over time which is worth something in its self, instead of buying a kit for 2600 then spend tons on extra parts...sorry im just a na person.

If you do some research and dig around for some good deals, you can probably put a custom turbo kit together for somewhere around $2000, then add about $500 for DSM injectors a larger fuel pump and Hondata, and you'll be set.
