lowering spring help

i got some lowering spring for my 94 ls they didn't have any marking on them if they were for the front or rear would the thicker coil spring go in the front for the weight of the motor and thinner in the rear or other way around some help thanks

when i did that the rear was dumped and the front was rasied know what the problem could be
