Camber will depend on your budget and how low you want to go. You could prob get away with about 1" before you'd get annoyed with the tire wear enough to go with camber correction... You running aftermarket rims/tires??

It depends on what your plans are, are you planning to run at a track? rally? or just for daily driven? If it's rally, everybody knows that tein coilovers are the best. but for daily driven cars, you probably have to research what u like for instance, koni yellows or KYB AGX w/ ground control, or another kind of springs/coilovers. if your car is too dropped then you aren't required for cambers, but to be on the safe side, camber kits are needed so that it won't just be wore down on a particular side of the the tires.
oh yeah, if you just wanna lower your car, CUT THE SPRINGS! hahaha

Eibach sportlines give approx.1.5 all around, along with some KYB's~~nice ride. had that set up in my 88 hatch.
oh yah you def want to get aftermarket shocks as well, eventually the stock ones will be shot=shitty as ride

My Eibachs and Tokicos do just fine. But yeah, I do need a camber kit. Waaay too much wear on the inside of the tires.

toe wears tires, camber has little effect when you have proper toe. in fact for better cornering response you want negative camber, which is achieved by lowering. 1" drop is not excessive enough to correct camber. just get a 4 wheel alignment when your done.

my daily driver droped a lil more than 1" all around and I Groun Control coilovers w/tokico blues (getin KYB AGXs when the blues wear out) and its a really nice ride, stiffer than stock but thats what I wanted

camber is not what you need to worry about, toe is what kils tires, when I had to raise my front to put on snow chains it messed up my toe so bad my tire was smokin after I got off the freeway, same thing happened when I lowered it again, just mess with the tie rod till its straight again and your fine

i was running h&r sports, stock struts, and no camber kit on my 92 teg. it had a nice ride and gave it a somewhat more aggressive stance. but later on i switched to gc coilovers because it wasn't low enough for my liking.
if you're only looking for about 1" drop you should consider the h&r sports.(1.8")
