Lowering GSR w/o upgrading sway bar, is this okay?
I plan on buying H&R Sport Springs (1.75f 1.5r) for next summer, and I haven't settled on shocks yet. I don't really want to upgrade my swaybar because I don't want to drill the subframe yet (still under warranty). Should I not do this or will I be alright? Would a rear lower tie bar be a good idea? ANy other suggestions? I've never lowered a car before...
Also, I was originaly going to pair the springs with KYB AGX's but have since been convinced not to. Originally I was going with Koni Yellows, but I won't be tracking the car very much (once or twice a year) so I though the money wasn't worth it, can you reccomend any other good shocks?
TIA

Koni Yellows aside.
Bilsteins are the next best thing/just as good but not adjustable.
You can just do the Springs/Shocks, but everything else helps as well. The swaybar rear upgrade does make a good difference. So to chasis reinforcement bars...

I would recommend Koni Yellows.. I have these on both my cars and I love them despite the cost I think they are worth the money.. in the 3yrs I've had them I haven't had any problems (lowered on Eibach Sportlines) and it handles great.. also gotta love the lifetime warranty and great customer service.. I own Tokico 5 Way's. I dont know what to compare them to, but I am satisfied with what I have.
To the topic, lowering your car without a swaybar is COMPLETLY fine. Alot of people dont upgrade the swaybar.
