Default Lowering GSR w/o upgrading sway bar, is this okay?

I plan on buying H&R Sport Springs (1.75f 1.5r) for next summer, and I haven't settled on shocks yet. I don't really want to upgrade my swaybar because I don't want to drill the subframe yet (still under warranty). Should I not do this or will I be alright? Would a rear lower tie bar be a good idea? ANy other suggestions? I've never lowered a car before...

Also, I was originaly going to pair the springs with KYB AGX's but have since been convinced not to. Originally I was going with Koni Yellows, but I won't be tracking the car very much (once or twice a year) so I though the money wasn't worth it, can you reccomend any other good shocks?

TIA

Ohlias

Track time or no track time, I'd never buy any other shock than the Koni Yellows.

Koni Yellows aside.

Bilsteins are the next best thing/just as good but not adjustable.

You can just do the Springs/Shocks, but everything else helps as well. The swaybar rear upgrade does make a good difference. So to chasis reinforcement bars...

I would recommend Koni Yellows.. I have these on both my cars and I love them despite the cost I think they are worth the money.. in the 3yrs I've had them I haven't had any problems (lowered on Eibach Sportlines) and it handles great.. also gotta love the lifetime warranty and great customer service.. Koni

bilsteins offer a similar warranty.

they are the best "set it and forget it" shocks out there

I own Tokico 5 Way's. I dont know what to compare them to, but I am satisfied with what I have.

To the topic, lowering your car without a swaybar is COMPLETLY fine. Alot of people dont upgrade the swaybar.
